My brother and I recently purchased a little girl from MuddyPawz Kennel and we couldn't have been much more lucky with our find. I knew from the second I met the family that we would be very pleased. She came from the most loving and caring family. They gave us all the answers to the questions I asked and were very helpful with everything. I also adore that they like to keep in touch with every puppy that was bred. We lost our last Dalmation 2 yrs ago and have been wanting a new dog the last couple of months. We were very luck to find Muddypawz. Leslie's process of getting a puppy is very fair. We got to meet the pup's mom and dad and could tell that our puppy would have a great temperment. We just brought our puppy home 3 days ago and he his great. He came home crate trained and paper trained. He is very happy and great with my two little girls. We are amazed at how well behaved he is for 8 weeks. Not only the utter professionalism that they exhibit but the love and care that they put into the puppies they provide, I left with the distinct impression that they were sincerely dissapointed in not being able to keep the puppy that we purchased. They provided expert veterinary care and individual attention to our puppy. When I showed my Vet the medical records they gave us for our puppy she said she had never been given more complete records by any breeder. I was amazed that a kennel as reputable as Muddy Pawz could be conducted in a home, the litter and all the breeding dogs were kept in the home of the breeder. Our puppy is obviously well bred, his temperment is superior. He has classic dalmation confirmation even at 3 months, is extremely intelligent and very well behaved. I would acquire another puppy without a second thought, my experience with this breeder was never anything but positive. After much search on the internet we were lucky enough to find a dalmation breeder close to where we live. Heartbroken after the death of our 16 year old dalmatian I decided to look on the internet for another. I have never done this before and didn't know what to expect. I had just lost Joey, at the young age of 14 years old. He was my soul mate. He saved my family from a house fire. It took many months to except that he had gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Then I stumbled on to High Point Dalmatian web site. I spent hours and hours reading reviews and about their dogs. And that they love the breed as much as I do. I must separate this breeder from all other Dog Breeders. Because with each puppy they give away, they also give a piece of their heart. | We purchased our Dalmatian now named Hallee (Kerry)in May and couldn't be more pleased with her. She is such a sweet dog and Leslie from Muddy Pawz made the entire process wonderful. She is so caring and takes the time to send pictures and keep you updated throughout the entire process. It's family run and you can tell they love all each and every puppy. When we took our puppy to the vet he was very impressed with the records and what great shape she was in. We have a 12 year old Dalmatian at home and now a 4 month old GORGOEOUS Liver Dal. | My experience with Muddy Pawz was excellent from the very beginning. Whether it was email updates on the puppies, pictures of them, or answers to any questions I had, Leslie was willing. I picked up my puppy a week ago, and he has been great. It is more than obvious that they are treated with care and love. Piper's temperament is amazing for a dog of any age, let alone a puppy. Sometimes I forget just how young he is because of how well he behaves. | I purchased a dal from Muddy Pawz June 2008--I have stayed in contact with Leslie, she is always interested in how Beau is doing--Beau is now two years old and a joy to have in our home. We have had 4 dals previous some from shelters, and breeders--and Beau has the best temperment by far. We travel with him and he is always welcome at family gatherings. He is a very calm and gentle dog and I feel this has to do with his parentage. I would recommend Muddy Pawz to anyone that has a love for the breed you will not be disappoint. | I’m glad there are still a few decent breeders left. If your paying more than $500 for a puppy the BAER test should be included in the price. You should not have to request it or pay extra for it. If you are just wanting a pet, the registry might not matter but if you want to be sure you are getting a purebred puppy with traceable registration you need to get one whose ancestors have DNA on file with AKC. Its absurd to pay upwards of $1000 for a CKC puppy when you can get one with champion parents for the exact same price. 99% of puppies are only pet quality and should be spayed/neutered. Breeders who overlook that and sell pet puppies with breeding rights/full registration are making it easier for puppy mills to stay afloat. Everyone should look up Champion Dalmatian Breeders on the net and see what they are supposed to look like and you’ll see that the majority of the puppies listed on here are nowhere near that quality.
